Right after our second child, we knew we needed to get a bigger vehicle. Having a husband that is obsessed with cars, we were automatically leaning towards a domestic car. We went with the Ford Edge because of its appearance inside and outside the vehicle as well as the features (leather interior for easy cleanup if the kids spilled, heated seats for cold days, trunk space, touchscreen).
Story
We went on a road trip to PA for my son's birthday. We were driving, and I noticed my gas light went on, and then suddenly realized that we had miles to go before the next rest stop. Needless to say, our car was so reliable that the reserved gas got us to the rest stop without the car running out. Now every time we talk about that trip, we talk about how lucky we were and laugh.
Pros
One of my favorite parts of this truck is how reliable it is. How great my family fits in it. The trunk space can fit a carriage plus whatever else it needs to fit. It heats up fast in the winter, cools quickly in the winter and has been part of some of our best road trips thus far. I also love that I have a reliable company. Their customer service is great as well.
Cons
It's a truck so it uses gas faster.

I was told that any Ford car was the best type of American based car, so I went with this vehicle. I'm glad I went with this vehicle because it is ranked 7 out of 19 for mid sized SUV's. The pricing for this SUV is relatively cheap compared to other mid sized SUV's on the market. This car seats 5 people and that is ideal for a family of 4 to 5. Now the pros for this mid sized SUV is it has sedan like ride and handling which is number one in my book, a very spacious interior, and a very strong engine. The only problem I have with this mid sized SUV is the hard plastics that are inside the car.
Story
The most memorable story I have with this vehicle is being able to buy a bunch of groceries and putting everything in the truck and actually fitting.
Pros
Very large interior, drives like a sedan , strong engine, fits a family of 5.
Cons
Hard plastics inside of the car killing the design.

The customer service experience was pleasurable. The Salesman wasn't pushy and didn't come off like he would do anything to make the sale. He was very straight forward with information and aimed to get an understanding of what I liked and wanted in my vehicle of choice. He was patient, efficient, and moved at a good pace. I didn't have to spend all day at the dealership. Overall good experience.

The salesman was very nice, not pushy at all and answered some difficult questions that I didn't think he would have the answers to (I am a bit of a car buff and like to know very specific details).
