I love my CVPI. It is a work horse of a car. It was a retired police car from Michigan with 132K miles on it. Now its at 142K and it still is quick to pull off the line, handles great, and still gets catches the eyes of other drivers.
Story
I have had a few times that I have pulled over some of my friends in my car and raced a few kids.
Pros
The pros of the car could be endless. I love the fact that its a V8 engine. It has all the horse power you need for an around town car. You don't feel like a wimp driving it. I also love the physical looks of the car. It looks like just an average car, but people don't realize that it has so much power. When my car was originally bought from the dealer, it still had the loud speaker in the car and it was operational. Now mind you it is illegal to use, but it is definitely my favorite part of the car.
Cons
My first con is the age. The 2004 model was considered the best CVPI year but being so old, it now has a lot of rust spots and the rocker panels are starting to rust out. Another issue with the age is that the rubber seal around the doors and windows is old, and it leaks in heavy rain. Lastly, because it is a Police issue car, it has had a lot of engine hours and it makes me nervous how much longer it will last.

One of the most bombproof cars I have ever owned. I bought it cheap, and it has served me well almost 5 years now over rough country roads with little maintenance. Not only is it tough as nails, but its fast and handles very well in cornering on twisty roads. The huge interior can fit 5 people easily and about 2 months of groceries in the trunk along with a full-size spare tire.
Story
I easily outran a friend of mine in a drag race with his v-twin cruiser motorcycle. I hit a deer at near 55 miles per hour and, thanks to the push bar on the front, suffered no damage to the vehicle.
Pros
It's cheap to acquire. I paid $2,000 (U.S. dollars) for mine in 2013. It's fast and handles very well. It is very tough and requires little maintenance. Large interior. Lots of trunk space.
Cons
The fuel economy could be better at 25 miles per gallon. No armrests.
