This car is solid. The parts are even more solid than the equipment as a whole, but when something breaks, it is incredibly expensive to fix. Also, police interceptors often require special mechanics who are used to working on the vehicle makes themselves. You will likely get well over 250 thousand miles with this car before it really starts to give you problems. However, problems will start to arise well before the 200 thousandth mile has been reached. For example, my fuel tank had issues. The fuel tank for this car is located up underneath the car in a location that requires the car be taken apart, essentially. Taking apart a car of this size and weight is expensive. It is also a gas guzzler. This is not the car for you if you can not afford to spend a lot of money on gas. And let's ... (more)
Story
This was a great car for cruising along the beaches in FL. Additionally, because it's an interceptor, people tend to drive more carefully out of fear that you are a police officer and nobody wants a ticket.
Pros
This car is probably the safest car to get into an accident in. It could be hit by a tank and you would likely have no physical damages.
Cons
Transmission is horrible, build was way too bulky, expensive repair parts.

The 2002 Ford Crown Victoria has been around for decades and this is because of its superior design and quality. These cars are reliable, durable, and intuitive to drive. This model was used by law enforcement for years and I think its because of the all around greatness of the Crown Victoria. The seats are very comfortable, like you are driving around in a recliner. They can adjust in every direction to accommodate all types of people. The car is fast and while it doesn't get amazing MPG it does quite well compared to other cars with V8 engines. Overall the Crown Victoria is a blast to drive and I would recommend one to anyone considering it.
Story
I once drove it across the country to go to a music festival. It went great and my passengers really thought the car was comfortable.
Pros
I think the comfort of the seats is one of the most positive things about this vehicle. I drove it on a cross country road trip and it was the most comfortable car I had been in especially over 8 states of travel. Another feature I like is the power of the Crown Victoria. When I need to pass someone I can step on it and get where I need to go in a hurry.
Cons
The main negative to this vehicle is the fuel efficiency which is not the best. I used to drive a car with a 4 cylinder engine that got much better gas mileage than the Crown Victoria. Also I would say the body design is kind of ugly and looks like a car that an elderly person would drive.
