I purchased a 2012 Fiat 500 about a year ago and I am incredibly happy with my purchase. I did not know a lot about Fiat before purchasing the second vehicle I have ever owned. The build quality is great for a 2000lbs car and it gets around very well for how little it is. This is my first manual transmission and it was incredibly easy to learn how to drive on this vehicle. It turns very tight(in a good way) and can maneuver through traffic and park almost anywhere. It was scary at first to have such a small vehicle at first, but it is very secure and has fairly good crash test ratings. I am not scared anymore when I am driving this on large highways or interstate.
Story
I took a road trip to Oklahoma and got to see a lot of sights and drive quick on some back country roads.
Pros
Manual Transmission. Sport mode gives much needed power to vehicle and tightens steering. Bose Stereo is wonderful and as loud and clear as it needs to be. Curb weight is around 2000lbs.
Cons
None.

The vehicle is very compact. You are able to fit it into spaces and places that most cars cannot fit into (yay city parking). It is especially inexpensive on gas, which is why I chose the car in the first place. What I dislike about the vehicle is how expensive the upkeep is on this, parts (headlights, filters, and tires) were hard to find. Mechanics were also an issue to find. It also loses the value very quickly.
Story
When tailgating at Keenland Race Track, I was driving through a field. Hit the biggest dip in the field and may have went a little airborne.
Pros
Compact. Cheap on gas. Sport button. Bose sound system.
Cons
Pretend back seat. Expensive upkeep. Suspension—you feel every little bump in the road. Lack of mechanics that will work on Fiats.
