The vehicle was constantly breaking down. There were many design flaws. The truck was a complete burden that was in constant need of repair. I bought it with 63,000 miles on it and took it to the junkyard with 115,000.
Story
This memory was not fun but it was memorable. Driving down the highway during a snowstorm, the transmission started to go out. The truck would not shift out of first gear after I pulled to the side to clear ice off of the wipers. Pros
The pros for this vehicle was the roomy cab. The large seat in the front with folding console was a very good feature. The vehicle was very comfortable to drive when it was running.
Cons
I bought the truck with 63,000 miles on it and almost immediately there were repairs needed. First the dash board cracked. Not just a little bit but severely. Then the water pump needed replaced. After that the transmission was replaced followed by the bearings in the wheels. Then the timing chain followed by the head gasket and then another transmission. The engine started knocking and that's when it was taken to the boneyard.

My main reasoning for purchasing a full-sized truck was to haul things around. Now that I've owned it for about 6 months, I have grown to appreciate not only the room in the bed of the truck but also the interior cabin space as well.
Story
We threw a queen-sized air mattress in the bed of the truck and took it to a drive-in movie theater in North Ridgeville, OH, for their annual Halloween movie weekend.
Pros
I have two kids (both in car seats), a wife, and a giant dog, and I am able to comfortably fit everybody inside the truck and be able to haul all the gear that goes along with having a family. My commute to work takes me roughly 30 minuets (mostly highway), and it is so nice to be able to see above traffic to anticipate a sudden slowdown. The truck is also equipped with four-wheel drive, and so far, it has handled great in the snow and ice. Overall, I am extremely happy with this purchase, and now that I own a full-sized truck, I can't imagine going back to a smaller vehicle.
Cons
Parking is sometimes an issue especially downtown. The ride is pretty rough being a full-sized truck. Being a basic truck, it doesn't have good interior lighting. The truck can shake at high speeds.
