2012 Dodge Ram 1500 - Dependable and comfortable truck.
I love the look of the Dodge Ram trucks. I have been a previous owner, so when it came time to look for another truck, the RAM was an easy sell. I purchased the larger crew cab due to having a large family (five). The crew cab allowed all of us to comfortably go places together where as other truck four-door models would be cramped. My truck has the 5.7 liter V8. While it's rather poor on fuel efficiency, it seems to be a dependable motor. I mostly enjoy the space in this truck. Whether driving alone or with my family, there doesn't seem to be any issue with space. We've taken the truck on several road trips over 3,000 miles, and it has been great. Story
One of the fondest memories I have with this truck is our family vacation to Arizona from Oklahoma. Our truck was relatively new at the time. We had recently traded in our older 2006 model for the 2012. The 2012 Ram had the crew cab which made the trip much more enjoyable for our kids riding in the back seat. Pros
As stated above, I love the look of the Ram trucks. I love the space the larger crew cab option affords us with a large family. We've taken our truck on several family road trips and been very comfortable. Our truck has satellite radio which allows us consistent entertainment across many regions in the country. We use the satellite radio predominately while local, as it is far less annoying that local radio. Our truck is four-wheel drive which brings us piece of mind during winter months. Cons
The top negative items about our 2012 Dodge Ram Crew Cab are fuel efficiency, cost of routine maintenance and lack of extended warranty on the certified used vehicle. Our Ram 1500 has a 5.7liter V8 which seems to have sufficient power for how we operate it. Our family travels 60-100 miles from our residence to church, school and work in this vehicle, mostly utilizing high speed highways with little stop-and-go. 2008 Dodge Ram 1500 - Great truck
My 2008 Dodge Ram has been an exceptional vehicle to own. There has been no mechanical problems, and I have driven it over 80,000 miles. The interior is basic, but there are no complaints. The seats are comfortable for driving any distance. The truck looks sleek and has held up well over the years. The truck has been my daily driver for over four years, and I would make the purchase again. It has handled towing vehicles, fishing and hunting trips, and teaching my sibling to drive. Overall, I would recommend this vehicle to anyone desiring a truck that is good on gas mileage that doesn't need a heavy duty work truck.
Story
I am from Northwest Oklahoma, and shortly after getting this truck, myself and two buddies took it back to the river to fish. Truck handled the muddy terrain well, and we caught a lot of fish. It was a great experience.
Pros
This truck receives excellent gas mileage for a truck (up to 21mpg) and drives very smooth. It has help up well and has zero major mechanical problems while I've owned it.
Cons
Did not come with electric windows or a CD player. 20-inch tires are expensive.

2012 Dodge Ram 1500 - John Vance Auto Group Guthrie
First off, the service. Everyone was very friendly, which I guess is to be expected. We had called beforehand about financing and their selection. I told them exactly what features I wanted, price range, etc. They had a selection ready. We talked extensively on the phone BEFORE we even went over financing - so they didn't know if I would even qualify. I was very impressed by the whole thing. Their professionalism was top-notch and they answered every question i had pretty much right away.
