My main reasoning for purchasing a full-sized truck was to haul things around. Now that I've owned it for about 6 months, I have grown to appreciate not only the room in the bed of the truck but also the interior cabin space as well.
Story
We threw a queen-sized air mattress in the bed of the truck and took it to a drive-in movie theater in North Ridgeville, OH, for their annual Halloween movie weekend.
Pros
I have two kids (both in car seats), a wife, and a giant dog, and I am able to comfortably fit everybody inside the truck and be able to haul all the gear that goes along with having a family. My commute to work takes me roughly 30 minuets (mostly highway), and it is so nice to be able to see above traffic to anticipate a sudden slowdown. The truck is also equipped with four-wheel drive, and so far, it has handled great in the snow and ice. Overall, I am extremely happy with this purchase, and now that I own a full-sized truck, I can't imagine going back to a smaller vehicle.
Cons
Parking is sometimes an issue especially downtown. The ride is pretty rough being a full-sized truck. Being a basic truck, it doesn't have good interior lighting. The truck can shake at high speeds.

My fiancé and I bought a house less than a year ago and we got the truck right before that. It made our lives so much easier to move. It's easy to handle because it's an automatic, has a good sized bed and the former owner put a tow kit on it. Ours is silver, and very clean. It's a good looking truck that we're proud to own with fairly decent gas mileage for a truck.
Story
We somehow managed to get 2 twin mattresses, a table, boxes and a couple lamps into the bed and strap them down. We also managed to drive 30 minutes with said items down country roads. Moving was very interesting, including when we got our fridge in the truck ourselves and moved it here.
Pros
Strength (in towing and weight limit for bed). Appearance. Gas mileage. Storage space (plenty behind seats, we have a 2 seater). Mirror size (huge).
Cons
Gas mileage (Even though it's good for a truck, still not amazing). Availability (Hard to find this truck for a good price).

Kasper Chevrolet is a family owned new and used car dealership near Cedar point in Sandusky Ohio. The folks at Kasper treat everyone as if they were family. The sales and service staff were welcoming and personable. We were looking for a dependable used car for under eight thousand dollars. The sales staff took that into account and did not try to pressure us into something more costly. They treated us as well as if we were there to buy a brand new Corvette. Thank you Kasper we will be back.
