2011 Dodge Journey - Great family vehicle
I absolutely love my Dodge Journey! It drives so smooth and quiet. There is little to no road noise from any seat in the car. We have a V6 engine, so great power with acceleration. The leg room in the vehicle is better than any other SUV we test drove. My husband and oldest child are over 6'0" tall, and my youngest is not far behind, there are never any complaints of no leg room.
Story
The looks on peoples faces that are driving a sports car and I can out run them. Not racing, just gain speed a lot faster.
Pros
My top five things on the Journey are as follows. Number one is the leg room. Second is the storage that is available. Third would be how smooth it drives. Next would be the comfort of the seats. And finally the look of the vehicle.
Cons
The only complaint I have is the gas mileage. Can't expect much better though with it being a SUV and V6 engine.
2016 Dodge Journey - Reliable family vehicle.
Vehicle has ran well so far and gets us anywhere we need to go. I like that it fits the family effortlessly as well as anything else we need to bring with us. Everything is pretty adjustable. The one problem is it is AWD, yet it had issues on a bumpy road we almost got stuck on. It gets pretty good gas mileage for being a large AWD vehicle as long as you use cruise control.
Story
We took the car out to La Push, and it was a fun drive, nice and quiet vehicle.
Pros
It has a roof rack to store things for camping, put snowboarding equipment on, or whatever else you may need. There is third row seating you can utilize or fold down to expand the space to store more things. There is also many hidden compartments you can store other items in. The dark interior is attractive and seats are comfortable. The push button start is very convenient.
Cons
In town gas mileage is not great, the turn radius is not good, and even with AWD, bumpy roads can cause issues.
