I researched SUVs until I went cross eyed and found this one used for a great price. I could not be happier - it drives well, gets relatively decent gas mileage for a large vehicle and has space for everything I need from day to day. Road trips are comfortable for the whole family, now.
Story
My kids and I packed up and took off to Truckee a few weeks ago. It was so nice to fit everything I needed for a week away with two babies into my vehicle and still feel comfortable and driving over the mountains was wicked fun in this zippy SUV. My toddler loves "driving" it, too, so I was able to keep him occupied as I unloaded all of our gear on my own. This car is totally part of the family.
Pros
This is a mid sized SUV that fits in third row seats comfortably. The cargo room is ample, so I can fit my giant double stroller in with no trouble, in addition to other day to day necessities. Getting kids in and out is easy, with no bending or twisting and car seats fit well. There are secret compartments all over to stow purses or other valuables when you need to leave them in the car. The interior feels high end and is very attractive. The personalized climate controls ensure that my husband doesn't freeze me out when we drive long distances.
Cons
The acceleration could be more responsive and there's not really space for a rear-facing convertible car seat behind a tall person, which I would expect from and SUV. Other than that, I have no complaints about this vehicle.
