2012 Dodge Grand Caravan - Great economical vehicle.
I like that I can fit a lot of people in the car and be able to do what I need to in travelling.
Story
We went to a biking trip at a state park. We were able to stow the seats and fit 3 large sized bikes in the car and our helmets and supplies for the ride. It was comfortable riding along with the bikes and we enjoyed our trip.
Pros
I like that it is spacious and able to fit all our friends and family for one trip. I am able to pack in bikes when I want to go with the family. I am to stow the seats in the car and am able to fit in anything I want when I am travelling as well. I am able to have room for my dog to move around when I stow the seats as well. It was very affordable to. It gives me the opportunity to get a newer vehicle for a better price than the Toyota and Honda brands. It is a great interior as well and offers great amenities. Cons
I don't like that the paint chips a little easily with the light gray color on the back bumper. It seems to scratch somewhat easily which would have been better if it did not. I don't like that the minivan takes a lot of gas to run, but most do need a bunch of gas. I would prefer if the carpeting all could be shook out but a lot of the carpeting is attached so it needs to be vacuumed frequently. When I drop something between the seats too it is hard to reach in some of the tight crevices and I've lost some items.
2012 Dodge Grand Caravan - Good family vehicle.
I like the fold down seats which you can adjust for each of the back rows. I can increase the space in the car so much by folding down 1 to all of the back seats. I can fit my pet dogs in the car easily for travel if I want to make more space. I can also transport so many things with the extra space inside that is available. I have fit a sofa in there along with all of our 5 bikes for a bike trip we went on. I can also place items on the roof with the ties if I'd like to.
Story
We went to Disney World with the pets and family using the vehicle. It was a great trip and easy to drive. We put on some movies and reclined the seats back and were able to relax for the trip.
Pros
The top things are the DVD player in the car which keeps the kids busy on a long trip. We can sit and watch a movie together to pass the time as we are driving along. The sound system is great so we can hear the movie well or we can connect the Bluetooth headphones to the DVD player to watch the movie quietly in the kids seats. The car is very roomy for up to 7 people to fit in the minivan along with room for pets as well on the trip.
Cons
I think that the Bluetooth radio could be easier to program. I wish that the seats had more space in between them to clean aside the seats easier. There are gaps in the spaces where I cannot retrieve things if they get lost. Things fall behind areas and you cannot get access to get them easily without taking everything apart that doesn't even come apart easily. The Bluetooth radio is touch screen and once it breaks you don't have easy access to control the time on the screen unless you get a new screen.
