I drive a 2016 Dodge Grand Caravan SL. It is the perfect vehicle for this stage in my life. I love how much room it has all around. The stow and go storage is perfect for long trips. I also love that the third-row seating folds completely down for flat storage in the back end. I would definitely purchase again or recommend to others.
Story
We have taken many road trips in the vehicle. We use it for all of our family outings.
Pros
The stow and go storage is a major pro. The faux leather seats are also perfect for those of us with children. They are easy to clean.
Cons
The one major con I have with this van is the gas mileage. I always feel like I am stopping to fill it up!

2002 Dodge Grand Caravan - Great for Families, High Maintenance

This vehicle was a workhorse, the interior held up amazingly to the rigors of 5 children. It was comfortable, did well in the snow and had plenty of room for children and cargo. It was generally low frills but sturdy. It was, however, constantly in the shop. Nothing major but a constant two to three hundred dollar bleed every three or four months.
Pros
The roominess and performance of this van were definite pros. It rode comfortably and quietly even over snow and the rough terrain that's common in my area. The upholstery was easy to clean. The floor of the car was easy to vacuum by removing the seats. The body handled minor dings and dents from shopping carts and other car doors very well.
Cons
This van seemed to eat tie-rod ends, to the point of having them replaced twice in one year. It developed this weird problem with it's air conditioning that filled the interior of the car with smoke. This happened twice in four years. It went through an average of one belt every six months. In addition, the removable back bench seat became jammed several times, eventually needing replaced.
