2008 Dodge Grand Caravan - Great van
This is a spacious vehicle. One of the great features is the stow and go seats. They are great if you need to haul something and you don't have to remove seats. Those seats also adjust front to back to allow more room in the rear seats, which is also a great option. I have had no issues with any key components. One of the other great features is the power doors in the back. It makes it easier for the kids to get in and to avoid the slamming doors. The rear heat and air controls also are great. You leave the climate up to the people that are using it. This van also rides smooth. It is easy to get in and out of. I also love the track lights that are in the back. Story
We, as a family, just have fun turning up the tunes and driving around. We like to put the windows down and crank up the music and just enjoy the time together.
Pros
Room is one of the pros. Gas mileage is great for a bigger automobile. The stow and go seat are awesome if you need to haul something. The middle seats also adjust to allow for more room for the rear seat. The power rear doors are great to avoid having to slam the doors. It's easy to get in and out of. Smooth ride. Love that the middle windows roll down. Makes it fun for the kids.
Cons
Cup holders for the middle seats.
2008 Dodge Grand Caravan - Met my needs.
Overall, this is a great vehicle, and it met my needs perfectly. It came in very handy when I changed jobs and moved almost four hours away.
Pros
I love the fold and go seats in the back, which increases cargo space greatly. It has plenty of power outlets for my various electronics. I like the height of the car which makes it much easier to see traffic. Most of the maintenance on this car has been normal "wear and tear."
Cons
The main problem I had with this car is that it was the first model year of a redesign of the Grand Caravan, which meant there were still some bugs to work out. It was recalled twice in the first three years for manufacturing defects. However, those were fixed at the dealer's cost, so I'm not too upset. I wish that it had the stow and go for the middle seats and that it had a luggage rack on top. The gas mileage in the city could be better.
