2007 Dodge Grand Caravan - Exceptional Road Trip Vehicle
My family and I absolutely love our min van. I can't get enough of all the room I have within it. I can not only have my purse next to me between the two front seats but also a few other bags full of items if I so choose. The van handles great, and as someone who always has a bottle of water with her I really like the cup holders that are built into the vehicle which allow for many different sized bottles to sit comfortably in them. The drive is so smooth, and I feel like I am very safe inside of it. The only thing I wish we could have but don't would be side windows that actually rolled down for the people sitting in the back.
Story
One of my favorite stories is traveling in this vehicle to California from Michigan. It was such a long drive and we did it with two kids. I was never more happy in my life to have so much available space in a vehicle. Everyone could easily lay back in their seats to nap and get rest or just have room to stretch out. This mini van made our trip as easy as it could be.
Pros
My favorite feature of this vehicle would have to be the stow and go seats. It makes it so easy to purchase a large item and haul it home. The middle seats and the very back seats fold down under the van so easily that even my son can do it.
Cons
Sadly the back side windows do not roll down...We really wish they did. It would be great for others in the vehicle to enjoy a nice cool breeze just like the people in the front can.
2010 Dodge Grand Caravan - I love my van
I have been driving my van for almost eight years and love it. I haven't had any problems with it. It has preformed well for everyday driving as well as longer trips. It has some dings and scratches, but has never let us down.
Story
On several occasions, we have taken it to the drive-in movies. We flip the back seats around the kids and have the perfect place to watch.
Pros
The aspect that I like the most about my van is the space. We can easily fit our family of five, large dog, and luggage. I love the stow-and-go seats that allow me to reconfigure the seating as needed. It has been wonderful to be able to rearrange the seats to fit an unexpected large item in along with three kids. I love that feature. There are lots of storage compartments, which is nice for organizing. It also gets good gas mileage. My kids love the DVD player for watching movies on longer trips. They also like being able to control their own temperature with controls in the back.
Cons
The only thing I don't like is the outlet in the back. You're supposed to be able to plug things in, like a crock pot, for when you travel, but I've never been able to have it work. It would be nice if it worked. No other complaints.
