2014 Dodge Grand Caravan - A minivan so good, I have had 2.
I love the Dodge Grand Caravan. So much so, that when my first was ready to be passed on to a family member, that I bought a new one. I love the handling and the quietness of the ride. There is enough leg-room no matter where you sit. All of the Dodge dealership staff is friendly and I never have problems getting warranty issues taken care of. There are two main reasons I bought this van. First, for comfortable traveling on family vacations, but mainly to haul my wares to local craft shows.
Story
We took our van on a trip around the UP touring Michigan's waterfalls. It was a beautiful trip.
Pros
My favorite thing about the Dodge Grand Caravan is that the seats, including the rear split bench and the captains chairs, fold flat into the floor. This allows me to fit all of my products and even a commercial pop-up ten into the back without having to put things in seats and worry about an obscured view. When we are on vacation the Stow-And-Go areas come in handy for first aid kits and storing things we won't immediately need. This gives us more room in the back of the van. Cons
The first week I had my Caravan at home I noticed the passenger side environmental systems didn't work. It would only blow out hot air on the passenger side and rear vents. It was an actuator door problem. I had to deal with no AC for a week while we waited for parts to come in.
2006 Dodge Grand Caravan - I love my Dodge Grand Caravan
My Dodge Grand Caravan has been an excellent car for our family. We bought the van in 2009 and have put over 70, 000 miles on it! There are so many details put into our van that help accommodate our growing family! It is built with quality, and we have not had many issues with it, other than normal wear and tear. The interior had held up very nicely with our young children. The power sliding doors make the van easily accessible for our children to get in and out, It has a very smooth ride, and we get great gas mileage! This van has been a very reliable source of transportation and I would recommend it to any growing family. We got the van when our youngest son just turned one. Story
My favorite memory is bringing my youngest two babies home from the hospital. I will never forget loading up the car seat and riding home with them!
Pros
I love the power doors that open with the push of a button. So convenient for our family. Also, there is so much storage! We have stow n go seating, which gives us extra room for storage, or we are able to put the seats down to make room for bigger things. The van also gets great gas mileage, so we are not over spending to drive a car that fits so many people!
Cons
Our battery wears out quick with all of the different power options on the car.
Also, the power sliding doors wear out. It is also getting rusty.
