2010 Dodge Grand Caravan - Versatile Dodge Grand Caravan
We really enjoy the comfort and versatility of our Dodge Grand Caravan. It is roomy enough for seven adult passengers, and the seats fold down completely or can be removed if we need to transport cargo. We have made several cross-country trips in our Grand Caravan and have had been able to safely bring along everything we needed to make our travels more comfortable, such as luggage and coolers for food.
Story
When my husband and our oldest daughter drove the van from NYC to Utah, they decided to drive straight through with stops only for eating or using the rest room. They folded the back seats forward and used bedding to create a comfy place where they could take turns sleeping. They called it their "Hobbit Hole" and got plenty of rest. Pros
It is a very comfortable vehicle with plenty of leg and head space. The Grand Caravan also gets excellent gas mileage for such a large minivan. It is very easy to fold the seats down so that we can even move a queen size mattress in the car. It has under floor storage, as well. Our grandchildren can watch movies in the back, if they would like. The heater and air conditioner work great so that we are comfortable year-round. We have fit three car seats and a booster seat in the Caravan and still had room for three adults to sit comfortably. It is a very quiet vehicle.
Cons
Some of the interior plastic parts have come off.
