2011 Dodge Grand Caravan - Great for families!
As a family with five children, this vehicle is perfect for us. I am not a big fan of minivans, but knowing we needed something roomy and within a budget, it was a logical choice. All seats are very comfortable with plenty of leg room. When it was purchased, it was in "like new" condition.
Story
Going to the drive-in to see a couple of movies but ending up sleeping in the van, because it got too cold outside.
Pros
One of my favorite features is the stow-and-go seating. It is so easy to stow the seats when needing the space to transport large items. I also like that when the seats are not stowed, there is extra storage space. The separate climate control for the front and back is a nice thing to have when traveling. The gas mileage is great for such a large vehicle.
Cons
I do wish the vehicle came with a built-in DVD player. I would tend to think that would be standard in a minivan considering a large percentage of purchasers are families with children. I would also like there to be more places to charge electronic devices in the back seats. There is only one place in the back which causes arguments when there are multiple passengers. The only other negative thing about this vehicle is the paint. The vehicle is only six years old, and the clear coat is beginning to flake off.
