2010 Dodge Grand Caravan - I love our Dodge Caravan. It is a very reliable and dependable car.
This vehicle has suited our family very well. We purchased it right after our youngest was born. It has served our family well for almost two years. It had 120,000 miles on it when we bought it, and we have put 40,000 more miles on it. We have had no engine or transmission problems with it. We did have an issue with the left passenger window getting stuck open. We took it to the dealer, and they disconnected the wiring to the window because there was an electrical issue with the car, which caused the engine not to work when the window was wired. Other than that, we have had no other issues. All of the seats are comfortable, and I love the fact that they all can be hidden inside the floor of the van, and the van can be used as a cargo van. There is also extra floor compartments to store... (more)
Story
This story is not really fun, but it is memorable. We hit a large dog on a country road and had no time to stop. The poor dog didn't make it, and we lost a good portion of our front bumper. Thankfully, the carriage of the van survived the incident very well.
Pros
This vehicle was in almost top condition when we bought it, and we only paid a little over $7,000 for it. It comes with heating and air as well as an entertainment center for the passenger seats. It allows our children to be able to watch DVDs when we go on long trips. There is also a feature which allows you to copy your favorite CDs on to the hard drive and play them anytime. It offers a comfortable ride. There is plenty of storage space available in the flooring and behind the passenger seats. I also think it has a classy design.
Cons
The gas mileage is a little higher than a regular car. Just taking the girls to and from school causes us to have to fill up the gas tank at least once a week. This particular van did have a wiring issue, which makes it impossible to lower the left passenger window, but that is okay. I am used to minivans, which had no windows that would open.
2012 Dodge Grand Caravan - Nice vehicle, but with some quirks.
My Dodge Grand Caravan was purchased to provide more room for our family. The interior of the van is nice. I really like the trim on the inside of the front doors. I also like the ability to fold the middle row seats down to allow more room if needed. The back seats fold down as well and accommodates items as large as bikes. One of the faults I have with the van is the fact that the sliding doors rub the quarter panels above the real wheels. I have looked and looked for a solution for this, but have been unable to locate one. Dodge knows about this problem but refuses to fix it or recall the vans. The paint above the wheels is now showing a scuffed white mark. I have to wax this every so often. Another fault I have is that the paint is chipping off the mirrors on both the drivers side ... Story
Our dog loves to ride with us. The van makes it east for her to hop in. She thinks she has to go every time we open the door.
Pros
Lots of room. Nice interior. DVD system keeps kids entertained on long trips. Stow and go seating.
Cons
Paint issues on mirrors, rubbing sliding doors. This is a huge con for me! Creaking sound in front end.

2003 Dodge Ram Pickup 1500 - Steve White Motors Newton
Close to home and after doing some research I found that they had the best price for the kind of truck I was looking for. The sales man that helped me did a good job and did not pressure me to buy.
