This vehicle is one of the most reliable vehicles I have ever owned. With regular maintenance, it has surpassed my expectations. It also has more storage than other vans I test drove. The under-floor storage in particular is extremely helpful.
Story
We visited Anchorage, Alaska, and had trouble finding lodging for the night. The hotel rooms available were several hundred dollars a night. It was early spring, so the air was still a bit chilly in the morning. We decided to hang blankets from the windows (for privacy) and sleep in the van. We put a thin foam mat down to lay on, and slept on the side of the road. It was one of the best nights... (more)
Pros
There is a line on the rear trim where the gate closes; from that line to the back of the front seats is exactly 8 feet, so I can easily haul standard-dimension lumber and plywood. The seats are removable or fold down, so it is pretty easy to utilize all the room. In addition, there is versatility in how the seats are arranged. Sometimes I only need to fold down one seat or remove a bench to increase the storage area. The top rack is also helpful for tying down items for transport.
Cons
Sometimes the side doors can get frozen shut due to ice and snow, and I worry that pulling on them to dislodge the ice can damage the handles. The middle bench takes some effort to remove, and I've damaged one of the floor trim pieces due to repeated removal. Some of the interior plastic is more flimsy than I would like, but at the price point I don't feel I can complain to harshly.

I never thought I would like a van. When we found out we were pregnant with our 4th son, we knew we needed something bigger. I was used to driving a tiny Ford Focus, and loved the way that drove and was clinging on to the idea of finding something like it. My husband got annoyed at my procrastination and decided for himself to go out and buy this, and let me tell you - it was the best decision ever. I absolutely love this thing now. It has handled everything we have thrown at it, even in the Alaskan driving conditions.
Story
We were in Anchorage, AK in one of the worst winter storms we had in years - on summer tires no less. We drove by 10 cars flipped over on their sides and on top of their roofs on our way home that day, and never lost control or traction once.
Pros
This van has tons of room, storage compartments, and drives amazing in all weather conditions. I live in Alaska and have never had to put studded tires on my van, and I have never had any problems with it mechanically.
Cons
The only negative thing I personally can say about this is that it doesn't seat eight. With five boys that extra seat would be helpful at times since we often have extra friends running around with us.
