2010 Dodge Grand Caravan Owner Ratings & Reviews

2010 Dodge Grand Caravan -
What I like about the Dodge Grand Caravan is the spacious interior. It is nice to have the extra seats, while also having leg room that other cars with a third row often lack.
The van is overall comfortable, convenient and reliable.
Story
We took it on a road trip and were able to fold down the back seats and sleep two adults comfortably, while our luggage was stored under the stow-and-go area.
Pros
I love the stow-and-go for extra storage. It is awesome when going on road trips or just for storage for things like diaper bags, gym bags, sports equipment, etc.
These vans typically get pretty good gas mileage. It's the main reason why we chose the mini van over a full sized SUV.
The seats can fully fold down into the floor board, making room for hauling large items if needed.
I love that they have back seat charger ports for charging tablets and game systems.
All of the seats can lean back individually to accommodate the comfort of each passenger.
Lots of room in the back for l... (more)
Cons
One negative aspect is that this newer style van no longer has the full three seats in the rear, like they older models did. That is the greatest downfall in my opinion, because I purchased a mini van specifically for the extra seating for friends and family. If you have a big family in the first place, (We are a family of 6) you can only seat 7 total.
2010 Dodge Grand Caravan - Roomy family vehicle.
I purchased a 2010 Dodge Grand Caravan brand new and was sold on being a minivan driving mom. I loved the stow and go seating, sliding doors, and ample room inside to navigate car seats. As a mom of three children, this minivan was game changer and made car rides so much more enjoyable for our entire family. I also became the cool mom that had extra space to bring friends along to sporting events and social outings. The exterior and interior of the Dodge Grand Caravan are great quality and have held up really well. Seven years later after a good shining, my vehicle looks brand new. However, I commute an hour to work both ways and once my vehicle reached an estimated 80,000 miles, things started to go downhill quickly. In the past few years, I have found myself having to deal wit... (more)
Story
We had the best family vacation from Illinois to Key West, Florida, with this van. We had ample space and just the best family time. The kids all had room to sleep and relax watching movies in their DVD players. There was no bickering because of the space. We also parked in the Smoky Mountains in Tennessee, sitting in our van and watching the sunrise. It was a great vacation and great mem... (more)
Pros
My favorite thing about this van is simply the space for our family. After years of driving a smaller sedan and struggling to get car seats to fit safety, our Dodge Caravan was game changer. The sliding doors and stow and go seating are so convenient as well.
Cons
My top negative thing about this van is that I wish we were not experiencing the mechanical issues that we have had in recent years. Our family likes to hold on to our vehicles and drive them as long as possible, typically trying to max out close to 200,000 miles. I do not think our van is going to last much longer based on the strange, loud engine sounds.
