Last March we purchased a used Dodge Grand Caravan. The vehicle appeared to have been well cared for, and we purchased it for $3,500. I like that this vehicle is large enough for our family, and that the trunk is spacious for a mini van. I like the captains seats in the middle row, and the way the drivers seat moves forward and back.
Story
My kids love riding around in this vehicle. My oldest son loves to have the rear windows open when we're driving to get some air, and all my children love the spacious trunk so they can hide in it!
Pros
I love the size of the vehicle, and that it drive like a car, but has the size of a larger suv. I like that there is plenty of space for my children's car seats, and my tall husband. I find the car to be comfortable to drive. The van has reasonable gas mileage, and for such an old car still runs pretty well. The seat belts in the front seats are easily adjustable to fit different sized people, as is the drivers seat. I love that the trunk is large enough for a stroller and a few full size pieces of luggage. It's very spacious for a mini van trunk.
Cons
The vehicle has had several different problems, and the check engine light seems to come on often. There are only three top tether spots for car seats, which makes it harder to put kids wherever you want them to be. There are also only two sets of latch, in the back row all car seats have to be installed with seat belt. The middle seat of the third row is a lap belt, which is not really safe for anyone out of car seat to ride in, that is definitely a negative for our family. The seat belts in the outboard seats of the third row only provide a safe belt fit for particularly tall or large ad... (more)

I purchased this vehicle when it was gently used and had 40,000 miles on it. There was very little that I needed to do when it came to repairing this vehicle in the last 13 years, but I did ensure that I kept up on regular maintenance through the years. One of the things I love about this van is that it gets amazing gas mileage that actually rivals a van that my friend had recently purchased brand new. Another awesome feature is that it is very easy to remove the seats for traveling and moving purposes. It does not have the stow and go feature, but the seats come in and out in cinch and are relatively light. It does have dual sliding doors and an automatic trunk opener, which I love, as well as a safety feature to prevent the kids from getting their fingers smashed when they aren't pay... (more)
Story
My kids and I had a blast taking this van to the drive-in theater and popping the back to lay down and enjoy the show.
Pros
The best things about this vehicle include it's gas mileage, looks, safety and reliability.
Cons
The only con in my opinion is that it does not have the stow and go option for the seats.
