2004 Dodge Durango - Favorable
I picked this up as a race trailer/camper tow vehicle. It hauls my trailer and gear well during the race season, and gas mileage doesn't suffer too much while towing. It's strong enough to get through semi-rough ground in camping areas or pull the camper from muddy fields. The drivers area is comfortable, the radio and accommodations are within easy reach, and the seating position is high enough that you get a good view of the road area.
Story
It's taken me to several summers worth of racing events, a few of which I've won, some of which I've lost terribly, but it's part of the memories of those seasons.
Pros
Strong motor, good for towing a camper/trailer, plenty of room for passengers and luggage. Driver's area is well arranged. Seat material easily cleaned/resists dirt and stains.
Cons
A bit boxy style wise. Gas mileage could be better. Some minor trim issues (peeling chrome film, bumper material fading)
2005 Dodge Durango - Love it
My car is very resourceful. It has 3-row seating, so it can hold all 5 of my kids. It is 4-wheel drive, so I can drive in the snow. The only downfall is I recently had a transmission problem. It does not have the best gas mileage, but it is 8 cylinder, so that is why. I only paid $3,000 for the car, so I can't complain. Overall, I would buy another Durango over and over again.
Story
We all took a road trip to Wildwood. We were able to fit and had a great time.
