2016 Dodge Durango - Excellent Vehicle for the professional salesman
The 2016 Dodge Durango is an all around excellent SUV. It is spacious and comfortable with room for larger than average size adults. Performance and handling are excellent. The quality of construction is better than what one would expect to find in a much pricier SUV. The rear storage compartment is large and has plenty of room for transporting everyday items. The 2016 Durango gets much better gas mileage than expected with the 5.7 liter V8; it's rated at 22 mpg highway. The 360 HP that it delivers is great for fast starts and changing lanes.
Story
The day we bought it, we took it down to the beach, drove right out to the water and had a picnic dinner that night for the whole family right in the sand.
Pros
The included electronics are very high end. The stereo system is clear and loud, if you like that sort of thing. The included GPS system has a large easy-to-read screen and is very easy to operate. Likewise, the environment controls are excellent and the air conditioning system blows ice cold. As a professional salesperson, I appreciate the ability to carry several large adults in perfect comfort. There is plenty of room in the trunk to carry all of my sales literature with enough left over to perform my regular shopping.
Cons
The price is somewhat higher than what I originally expected for the trim level that I purchased. Because the vehicle is slightly elevated, it may be difficult for elderly passengers to get in without assistance.
2012 Dodge Durango - Love it.
My Dodge Durango is a very comfortable, attractive, and functional vehicle for my needs. I would buy this vehicle again and actually have had a total of three Durango's (including this one) in my lifetime.
Story
One time during a road trip, we were lost so, me and my husband (at the time) stopped for food for the kiddos, played a movie on the console, and figured out ho to get to our location. It was nice to have everything we needed for what could have been a very stressful moment.
Pros
Roominess: this vehicle has been ideal when taking long road trips as I have always had enough room for my things and other passengers. Comfort: the ride is of a luxury vehicle. Amenities: my Durango is packed with a lot of things that make it seem like it is a more expensive brand of vehicle. Attractiveness: I constantly get compliments on this vehicle from both woman and men. It is sleek enough for a female to drive, but masculine enough for a man. Durable: my experience with Dodge Durangos have been good as far as vehicle quality and build.
Cons
The one negative I can say about this vehicle is the cost of parts. No matter the repair (maintenance), big or small, the cost seems high for a Dodge.
