2003 Dodge Durango - Best Car I've Ever Owned
In 2013, I purchased a used 2003 Dodge Durango from a seller on Craigslist. I was quite skeptical to be buying a used car, but my husband was sold on it the moment he saw it. The exterior was a dark blue and completely free of rust and dents. The interior was clean and in great shape. The only problem it truly had was that the brakes needed replaced. We were told it would need front and rear pads and rotors and possibly lines however all we had to replace were the front pads. We had the rotors resurfaced. It was a great deal. Since buying it we have added about a hundred thousand miles on it or more and it has been dependable. I believe this was the best purchase ever.
Story
I really don't think we have any memorable stories except maybe the fact that we met the former owner at 4:00 a.m. In order to purchase the vehicle and we took it on a three day road trip the next day.
Pros
The purchase price of the Dodge Durango couldn't be beat for $3,000. I also really enjoy the appearance of the exterior. The best feature however is simply it's dependability. We have never had it break down on the side of the road. Regular maintenance has kept it running great!
Cons
I really don't think there are any cons involved here.
