2005 Dodge Durango -
I like the driver's seat because it fits my body and provides comfort. I do not like the back seat because the seat is not deep enough to support the full upper legs and therefore is not at all comfortable. I love this car because it has lasted for 14 years thus far. It has provided reliable transportation for so many family members. The one thing that this car has been perfect for is for transporting specialty cakes.
Story
I love camping and you would not believe how much camping equipment I can pack in this car.
Pros
One of the best things about this vehicle is the gas mileage it gets for a car this size. It handles very well on most road types. It is perfect for transportation my specialty cakes for delivery. I love all the extra cubby storage. Space for storage has been maximized.
Cons
One of the things I least like is the blind spot of where the front and side windshields meet. The frame part is way too wide and blocks a lot of the view. It could use more leg room in the back seat.
2012 Dodge Durango - Rugged and luxury combined
I purchased a steel grey Durango in 2012. I fell in love with the body and the way that it handles on the road. I also liked the fact that it had enough room for my family or more. I was able to fit large suitcases and still fit my family comfortably. The sound system and navigation were also a big selling point for me. We are constantly on the road, and these are some of the things that we wanted. The towing capacity is enough to tow a boat or a trailer.
Story
We were stationed in Germany and traveling in this car was so comfortable. My daughters had a row to themselves, and we would blast our music singing on the autobahn.
Pros
Sound system, navigation, big body, seat room, trunk space, height of the truck, ease of access, and remote start.
Cons
Gas mileage is a little low. If the battery is low in the key, you will not be able to start the car or enter. We had to have a friend drive a 100 miles to bring us another key from house.
