I own a 2012 Dodge Durango. I love this vehicle for many reasons. First off, the car's exterior has a very strong look , but is sleek. The drive is awesome in all weather conditions and drives more like a luxury car than a rugged SUV. Given the brand Dodge, I already think of a durable vehicle. I have driven this car for 50k+ miles and it has not caused me extreme amounts of service expenses other than the normal maintenance stuff. There are a few rattles in the vehicle from time to time, but it is not overly crazy. It is a very quiet running car and the interior seems quiet when the windows are rolled up. Now, the features are awesome. Hands-free phone, power everything, automatic moon roof, leather seats with heat, navigation, automatic rain sensing wipers, alarm, automatic start. Th... (more)
Story
I don't know about fun moment, but I get a lot of compliments on the vehicle.
Pros
Hands-free phone, power everything, automatic moon roof, leather seats with heat, navigation, automatic rain sensing wipers, alarm, automatic start. These are just some things I love.
Cons
Not too many. My vehicle does have some rattling when the air first kicks on, but I can't say I have any complaints. Maybe that the expense to repair anything that goes wrong with this vehicle will be a little more expensive because it is automatic and has a built in computerized system.

2012 Dodge Durango - It was easily the best vehicle ever.

For the pros, I'd say the Durango truly outweighed the cons throughout my ownership. It was not at all a perfect vehicle but I do miss it a great deal. It had to be the smoothest ride I'd ever encountered. It was very spacious and had a ton of storage space. The real surprise is that it was amazingly good on gas. I enjoyed the rumble of the engine and how quiet the sports utility vehicle seemed to be. There could be so much going on outside and I would hear absolutely nothing until I either opened the door or rolled down my window. Overall an excellent vehicle for the price I paid for it.
Story
Road trips up and down the east coast. It hit the road and did so well. We loved going to the beach. I bought all this picnic food and grabbed my significant other. We even packed up the dogs. We rode down to the beach and sat with the back door up eating and just enjoying one another and the sounds of the water. It was truly beautiful and I know for a fact that my Durango is responsible for g... (more)
Pros
The three rows and overall space. The quietness of the vehicle. The fuel economy.
Cons
About four years into ownership, the vehicle began having computer issues. It would refuse to start sometimes. After several attempts, they were trying to figure out if it was an actual part or if it was the computer. After a lot of back and fourth and not having a reliable vehicle, I decided to trade it in and not live in fear of being put down on the side of the road.
