Great vehicle for those looking for a car that's fun to drive and cheap to own. The Dart isn't a sports car or a versatile SUV, but it is quick, customizable, and reliable. The car drove very well; no shaking at high speeds. My model was a six-speed stick shift, but I imagine automatic transmissions work nicely too. The interior is far from luxury but is easy to keep clean and has all of the features you'd expect in an affordable car in this day and age. Bluetooth phone connection with UConnect works and sounds great. This is partly due to the good stock speaker system in the car which can be upgraded if desired.
Story
This car made it all over the country, from the Northeast, to the southern tip of Florida, to the Grand Canyon.
Pros
The car looks very slick from the outside. It was easy to care for and always handled automatic car washes well (no spots hidden from the machine). The accent lighting inside the car gave a fun ambiance when driving at night. The large UConnect touch screen did a great job at displaying all available options. The car accelerated quickly for the tiny engine that it had, 1.4L Turbo, which was a great engine, especially because of the fuel efficiency it had. Cons
The hand brake on the car gave out at 36,000 miles right when the warranty ended. The front end of the car was very low and always scraped when there was a large curb or speed bump. The check engine light came on when the car was driving at high altitudes up a hill. The code said turbo under boost which didn't seem to affect performance or drivability, and it went off by itself. The car is supposed to take premium gas for the turbo engine which can get costly.
