2016 Dodge Dart - Sluggish.
My experience with the Dodge Dart was not ideal. The car looks great on the outside but lacks in performance and amenities.
Story
On my test drive experience, I was introduced to the Dodge Dart system. There was navigation, Bluetooth and Sirius XM...that was the best feature of the car.
Pros
The car has a nice design and a lovely interior. The thick, dark cloth seats were almost stain resistant.
Cons
Acceleration was pretty sluggish. The vehicle took a while to take off and while on the freeway. The vehicle would stagger around 80 MPH. For a Dodge, I expected much more. Also, I felt as if the Dodge was not a fair value. $21,000 is a fair price but not when the performance isn't up to par.
2015 Dodge Dart - I love my Dart
I upgraded from a Toyota Yaris. Same gas mileage, feel safer. My Dart has great get-up-and-go and I really like the placement of radio controls on the back of the steering wheel. The basic trim package has lots of standard features.
Story
About a week after I purchased by my car, I came out one morning to see that a neighbor had purchased the same car with a stepped-up trim package. Only figured it out when I tried to open the door. Oops.
Pros
I get great gas mileage. The radio controls on the steering wheel are awesome. Being able to use Bluetooth for calls, etc. is a lifesaver. Having cruise control and a remote entry system is great too. The car hugs the road well.
Cons
Interior space is a little cramped when I have others in the car. Turning radius is a bit long.

I was able to find the car I wanted to test drive on line, and then set up an appointment to go take it for a test drive. I was assigned one sales person to interact with, and he took care of everything.
2008 Dodge Neon - Allen Samuels Dodge Houston
The salesman did not force a car on me. He let me make the decision. They did not over charge me with interest.
