2007 Dodge Caliber - Ol' Faithful
I had to replace the starter after it stuck in the on position and the car would not shut off. I know, crazy right. Just recently, it failed inspection. The 3rd brake light was broken so I was able to replace it myself with no issues. It passed inspection after that.
Story
So how, it was able to power out of a snow drift. I put it in low gear and it just blasted out. I was very happy for my little car that day.
Pros
I bought the car as a demo model with 12,000 miles already on the engine. I paid for it like it was a new car so I got screwed that way. Over the years it's been very good to me. It still gets pretty good gas mileage and about 25 miles to the gallon, probably more. Plus, its still has a really nice modern look. When I first got it, people were always asking me about it.
Cons
My major issue with the car is that it has no power. I remember when I first got the car, I was trying to merge onto the highway. Well, needless to say my foot went to the floor and I was almost killed! The acceleration was, is and always has been lacking. I had to learn how to drive the car safely.

Story
When we bought the Dodge Caliber, we loaded up the family and went riding around our town, and each person had to drive the Dodge Caliber and check out the radio and speaker in the hatchback. Nothing like spending quality time with family.
Pros
The pros for the Dodge Caliber is the car is very cheap on gas for a college student to drive back and forth to school or, like me, just a homemaker. The Dodge Caliber has everything in reach and compatible with driving. The radio, the A/C and heater controls, the gear shift is very easy to control.
Cons
The negative thing about the Dodge Caliber would be the transmission. Every time you stop, the whole car shakes and makes a bad rattling noise.
