2014 Dodge Avenger - Powerful v6 engine that proves itself over and over again.
I liked the balance ride and the smooth engine performance, and that it just keeps on going.
Story
Traveling to a concert with friends and not having to worry about the engine as it handles well, and we had a fun, smooth ride.
Pros
Extremely powerful available V6 engine. Comfortable and balanced ride and handling.
Cons
Very uncomfortable seats. Poor reliability rating. Just a few standard features. Low quality interior materials.
2009 Dodge Avenger - Extremely reliable
I bought the vehicle in 2010 as a family car. Usually I am very cautious about buying a car but once I was able to test drive it I knew in a matter of minutes that it was perfect. Over the next few years aside from the general maintenance that's required I haven't had any problems. On my own accord I upgraded the struts and with the simplicity of the vehicles layout I was about to install the new struts with ease.
Story
Due to the nature of my job (US Marines) I have had the opportunity to drive across the country 6 different times and every time it has been a delight. Very cheap on gas and has the capability to go over most terrain.
Pros
I love that there is an auxiliary connection for my iPhone and the volume and station adjustment buttons on the steering wheel. I drive 80+ miles a day and the gas mileage is superb.
Cons
The only thing about the vehicle is that I wish at times there was a bigger engine, but I suppose I should have bought the larger model or perhaps even a charger. Other than that I can't think of any negative aspects about the vehicle.
