The car performs very poorly, but it goes from A to B, and it can carry seven people comfortably with room to spare for cargo. I have also carried full 8x4 plywood sheets in it, which is nice and convenient. The gas mileage is passable on the highway, but it is terrible in the city. Acceleration is an issue, and I feel like I have to floor it. The remote start is nice, but it sucks that the heated seats won't come on and the wipers won't either until the key is in the ignition (very inconvenient on cold, snowy mornings). The engine also performs very poorly in the cold, and it sounds like it's going to die when it's in the single digits. This is tricky living in a cold climate, and it cements my opinion of the cars poor performance. It seems like Chrysler cheaped out heavily on this ca... (more)
Story
I drove this through a blizzard to go skiing in northern Vermont, and it made it up all the steep hills (despite being an old ass minivan).
Pros
The sound is good, and it's fun to blast the bass in a mom car. There is quite a bit of storage space. The seats can be tricky to fold, but the cargo space is nice. It also allows me to be lazy about packing things instead of having to come up with creative ways to make it fit like in modern crossovers. It is also a relatively comfortable ride for all seven passengers.
Cons
The transmission on this vehicle is awful. I can feel it kick and shift very hard when I'm doing city driving. The transition from 1st to 2nd to 3rd and back again does not go smoothly. On the highway, this car clearly has trouble accelerating to speed or maintaining a cruising speed on any sort of incline. The car also sounds like it's dying in cold weather, and it takes a very long time to turn on and heat up the defrost. This is very crappy when living in a cold climate, and it seems like this car was only built for somewhere warm for some odd reason.
