2003 Chrysler Town and Country - Great family van
I purchased this van used and have been so happy with it. The interior is fantastic. Even at 13 years old the leather is like new and the interior has all of the perks you would expect in a newer van. The engine is strong and it gets reasonable miles per gallon, about 15 mpg. It comfortably holds all five of my kids and their gear. The trunk has room for our double stroller and groceries at the same time. It has a peppy engine that makes it easy to get up to speed on the highway. Everyone has their own space and even filled with the 7 passengers it accommodates it doesn’t feel overfull. It has all wheel drive which is a great must for Colorado winters. I have not had any slips or slides and feel very safe running all over town even in snow storms. I have never been stranded o... Story
On a regular 30 mile drive from Denver to Conifer in the Rocky Mountains during winter there were cars sliding all over the highway. We were wondering if it was a good idea to keep going, but with the all wheel drive we were able to make it without any slips!!
Pros
The pros of this van are the leather interior which is fantastic even after 13 years. The all wheel drive is fantastic and makes driving in the snow no problem at all. The spacious interior makes it feel like a second home even with 5 kids riding in back. The radio and cd player have excellent sound and sound great even when watching a dvd on the onboard dvd player.
Cons
The biggest con would have to be the known transmission issue. We had to have the transmission replaced at 100k miles. Our shop said that is a known issue, but once replaced the van will “run forever”. It was certainly worth the expense as the interior and exterior of the van are timeless.
2002 Chrysler Town and Country - Great family vehicle.
My Chrysler Town and Country has been a great vehicle. It has over 230,000 miles on it and still runs great. It holds five passengers, and the driver with plenty of room behind the back seats for a cooler. It gets about 22 miles to the gallon, which isn't great but is better than a SUV. It also has a backseat entertainment system to keep the kiddos busy on long drives. The downfall to the entertainment system is that it is a VCR and not a DVD player. The back two sliding doors are both power and can be opened from the front seats or by buttons beside them in the back. The tailgate is also power, which is great when carrying groceries or other items. It can be opened from a button in the front or manually from the back.
Story
We love taking this vehicle on long trips into the mountains to go sightseeing. We have often taken it down back trails ment for SUVs and it does great.
Pros
It seats six people comfortably. It has a entertainment system for the back seats. It gets decent gas mileage. It has separate controls for heating and cooling. The doors and back tailgate are power.
Cons
The seats in the back do not move forward and backward. The middle windows do not open or roll down. It has six separate seats and not a bench seat for extra passengers.

They were so helpful and able to get me approved without much down despite my poor credit. Great selection.
