Bought my 2004 Sebring used in 2014, and despite the previous owner not taking the best care of it, it's run amazingly. Mileage was a bit high, but that has basically been the only negative. Still runs smoothly. The MPG could be better, but is still pretty alright for a car from its time, Also love the fact my son's car seat fits and anchors down perfectly in the surprisingly roomy back seat. Got this car just about at Blue Book value and it still feels like I got a steal. Would most definitely recommend this car to anyone looking for a reliable vehicle that could get them from A to B and beyond
Story
The first time I got to take my son out for a drive with just the two of us. Texas is always insanely hot, but we were both very comfortable in the car and had a blast just driving around.
Pros
Roomy back seat. Very comfortable seats. Very sleek looking interior, Strong anchors for car seats. Strong air conditioning. Quick to accelerate. Sharp handling. Generous leg room up front
Cons
Not much in the way of head room. I'm pretty average height, but even my head is uncomfortably close to the roof. MPG could be better. Stock radio definitely leaves a lot to be desired, but is still serviceable.

2004 Chrysler Sebring - Satisfactory interior but unsatisfactory performance

This vehicle is visually appealing and has an attractive interior with adequate legroom. Performance wise: the gas mileage is average, and this vehicle can be prone to electrical problems. In addition, the battery location requires most people to have to take the vehicle to the shop for replacement. The vehicle is front-wheel drive, and when raining or wet, you may feel a slight pull on the wheels when the water gets trapped because of the overall design. Initially, I was attracted to this vehicle because of its aesthetics, and after test driving the vehicle, I was satisfied with the initial performance. The vehicle was comfortable to handle, and the overall driving experience was positive. After owning the vehicle, I began to miss the consistency and the reliability of another brand t... (more)
Story
I was excited to plan my first short (less-than four hours) out-of-state road trip to go visit family and friends. I could barely keep my attention at work thinking about being able to see friends and family that I hadn't seen in years. The thoughts of all the food and love that I would share along with old stories about fun times. I could look forward to my Aunt's baked treats and a big Sunda... (more)
Pros
Good leg room, comfortable seats, sunroof, adjustable seats, motorized adjustment of seat on driver's side, spacious trunk, collapsible back seat for extended trunk room, and aluminum wheels.
Cons
Poor gas mileage, battery location, difficulty climbing hills, electric problems, and tire drag when exposed to rain.
