I like the sleek look of the vehicle. The seating is relatively comfortable. I hate the entire engine compartment setup, the cheap trunk materials, and the fact that the entire underneath side is just plastic shields with plastic buttons.
Story
This wasn't a fun experience at all but it was memorable. My husband, 81 year old mother and I were on our way to a wedding. The car overheated and we had to pull over at a place of business. Before I could object, my husband removed the radiator cap and spewed hot coolant all over his hand and part of his face. He got steam burn on hand. Fortunately we were a few miles from our daughter who h... (more)
Pros
The repairs are relatively cheap for first 100K miles.
Cons
There are several negative items that I can share. The first item is that I hope you never need to put a water pump in this vehicle. It is absolutely astounding that you have to take off radiator fans, power steering pumps, timing covers and replace the timing chain to change a water pump, with a minimum cost of $1000 to repair a water pump. It is cheaply held together with plastic and buttons.

I have always LOVED the look of this car, and the feeling of the wind in my hair. I love the color and the way it handles. It's now 15 years old, and still drives like a dream. I've had to put very little money into it over the years. It has been dependable, and I plan to keep driving it for as long as it stays that way. The only "downside" has been that the top seems to have "shrunk" at some point. There is a small leak over the driver door when there is a slow rain, and it can get loud when it's windy.
Story
Not long after I bought it, I had it parked on the street. I came outside to see a couple looking at it and the woman was saying "oh look. There's my car." It was said in the way you would use when looking at something you'll never be able to afford. I couldn't believe someone was doing that with something I actually owned! My best friend and I have taken a lot of great road trips in this ca... (more)
Pros
It has been mechanically sound, and is SO much fun to drive.
Cons
The wind can be loud and it can get cold in the winter.

What I like about my car is that it drives extremely well and is just fun to drive. What I don't like about it is the passenger side window doesn't work, and I don't really wanna spend the money to get it fixed since I'm not sure if I will get a new car in the future. I also don't like the scratches, dents and scuffs it has and messed up steering wheel. Overall, it's a cute car, but if you really look, you'll notice it has quite a bit of cosmetic damage that I don't like. Other than the cosmetic damage, I would keep the car for years to come, no question about it. It has been a dependable car, and like I said, the way it drives makes me wanna keep it. The only thing other than that, is I would prefer something with more safety features and better gas mileage, but if there was a way I c... (more)
Story
Probably when I bought the car. A picture was posted of me buying it, and people in my town were proud of me to have saved money and bought it myself, especially my parents. I felt such freedom having my own car. I wrote my own check to the dealer and felt really mature for how I did things.
Pros
The silver color, how good it drives, and the size is not too big or small.
Cons
Not the best on gas, cosmetic damage, passenger side window is broke, doesn't have any of the new safety features, has an old timey clock instead of digital.
