2012 Chrysler 300 - Nice car with faulty parts
I have a 2012 Chrysler 300S v-6. It's a beautiful car almost fully loaded, but it has many issues, some very dangerous that they know and won't fix or recall.
Story
The car is very pleasant to take road trips in. My buddies and I took it to South Padre last summer, and the whole experience was second to none.
Pros
First off, the car itself is beautiful. It has navigation, sunroof, leather, and all the bells and whistles. It gets excellent gas mileage with its eight-speed transmission and has a very smooth ride. Trunk space is okay compared to others in its class, and the wheels that come on the car are very stylish and brings the car out even more. It has a Beats sound system with included subwoofer, which is very impressive for a factory setup.
Cons
This vehicle has recall after recall. I've had the car almost a year, and I've already been through three recalls from the abs malfunctioning when they are wet to the airbags having a faulty sensor. Then, there's the alternator which malfunctioned on the 2nd of this month. It had smoke and fire coming from it, but they claim there was nothing wrong with the 180-amp alternators, but they did recall on the 160-amp alternators. My vehicle is equipped with the 180, which costs $500, plus labor, to replace.
2015 Chrysler 300 - Chrysler 300 - the car I would buy again.
I like everything from the exhaust tips to the floor mats. The quality of the seats is amazing. Really conformable ride.
Story
Its all fun times with this car, we drive everywhere without a problem. Specially that one time we went to the river, We parked really close to the water to sit on the truck of the car and see the water flow.
Pros
The car can go miles, with out a immediate oil change, but its recommended every 300 miles, Low octane fuel is also good with this car, it dose not make it shaky nor anything.
Cons
The only bad thing is that is a little bit low and long that you cant go on steep driveways or big speed bumps without it scraping the floor.
