2006 Chrysler 300 - Not a kid friendly car
My husband initially bought this car Chrysler 300 for his vehicle but a few years later down the road I had issues with my sports utility vehicle Cadillac Escalade and was forced to take his vehicle. I have 3 kids and do not think this vehicle was designed for a family. There are some pros about the car it has a huge trunk and is very roomy in the interior of the vehicle. My son is an avid fisherman and he can fit his full size fishing poles inside the vehicle. I think the car was made for luxury maybe for a bachelor that would take care of it and be gentle with it. I do not think it holds up very well to kids and my kids do respect the vehicle its just cheaply made I think. I have also noticed lately maybe the transmission is about to fail because the car shifts kind of hard. I have h... (more)
Story
Going to Disney with my kids and travelling to other states.
Pros
I liked the large trunk and its design is beautiful to look at looks very classy.
Cons
Cheaply made interior and transmission issues
2006 Chrysler 300 - My soldier.
I call this car my soldier. My 06 Chrysler 300 has brought me through so much. Before I got my current car, I had another Chrysler 300 and was unfortunate in an accident, I knew I wanted to replace it with another one. Before that I had a Chevy SS truck and I for sure choose my Chrysler over an amazing truck as that is. Honestly, If anything ever happens to my car I will buy the same kind. Totally sold on Chrysler 300s.
Story
I had lost my kids for a year in a custody problem, I got to go pick them up for the first time in a year and take them home. Best day of my life in this car.
Pros
For starters, it has plenty of room. The front seats are spacious as well as the back seat. The trunk has a ridiculous amount of space. I have 3 kids and having that much space, for me, is the only way to go. Next the durability. Once they are going and running, it would take a plague to take them down. Mine runs great and I've had it for years. As far as appearance goes, it is sleek. I can still be a mom with a cool ride. People say my car looks like I'm either a cop or in a mob, Either way, I love it! I wouldn't trade it for another kind.
Cons
The cons that I can think of, both Chrysler 300's I had began to run hot and I had to have a few minor repairs done. I'm not sure if it's purely coincidental or because they re cars from back in 06. But they weren't an expensive fix and mine runs like new now. The last con is the recall on the steering wheel. The airbags had a recall and I had to wait in the shop for hours with three kids while they fixed it, but it's done now and I have no other cons to this car at all.
