2011 Chrysler 200 - A huge upgrade from my previous Stratus

I received the Chrysler 200 after having owned a 2004 Stratus for around ten years. Though I absolutely loved my Stratus - she was alliteratively and lovingly named Sadie Stratus - I have to admit that my 200 is substantially better than her predecessor. Tawny 200 (have to keep the alliteration going, naturally) is a smooth ride with an interior that blows Sadie out of the water. I love the old school clock right in the center of the dash and also utilize the menu button on my left steering wheel very often. I cannot tell you how convenient it is to click that menu button and be able to see the temperature, the tire levels, the CD track I'm listening to and how many miles per gallon I'm getting on my trips. Beyond that, it's a beautiful car. I can't help but admire the silver grill whe... (more)
Story
My cousin and I both have 200s (though his is a lease) and we were both visiting our grandmother at the same time. We left together and we had a laugh when we paused to try and figure out whose car was whose.
Pros
The clock in the middle of the dash, which isn't digital and reminds me how to keep the time without numbers flashing in my face. The tire pressure seems to be steady and I'm used to the gas cap being on the left side, so I was happy to learn that the 200 has it on the left as well. It has a good sound system and it's easy to adjust the bass/treble. On the outside it looks just beautiful, professional even, and the interior is just as nice. The seats are easy to fold down and I use them down often for extra trunk space. I know that most people don't even own CDs anymore but I appreciate th... (more)
Cons
My only real complaint is the gas mileage. I'm getting about 20 mpg, but to be fair I drive pretty aggressively so I could probably be getting a more conservative number if I toned it down. The exterior gas cap doesn't fit perfectly but I also believe my friend bent it out of shape slightly so I wouldn't say that's Chrysler's fault.

I am a first-time Chrysler buyer and typically pick European or Japanese brands. I have to say that once I drove the 200, I absolutely loved it. The press has been bashing the car, but I wonder how many of the "experts" actually drove it. The throttle tip-in has been criticized as too quick, quality too-low, fuel-efficiency not good enough, and styling "behind competition." Has anyone seen and actually compared the competition feature for feature? The bottom line is that the 200 isn't a perfect car, but it is one that has a lot of character and quality to it. There is something very genuine about it. It's an underdog that over delivers by my count. When price is considered, it's a clear win.
Story
This car may be a 2011, but it still turns heads. I get people asking what is it everyplace I go.
Pros
V6 3.6L engine, interior quality, u-connect, Boston Acoustic audio, media center, and driving dynamics—yes, it isn't sporty but has a great balance between being a little raw and offering great comfort for everyday cruising. Gas mileage is great, too. Overall, I love this car. It is a wonderful vehicle with enough qualities to justify the price. There is a lot to like here, folks.
Cons
External styling could improve, especially the dimensions. Size—I would like to see this car slightly wider and perhaps longer, because leg room in the back seems a little limited. On the other hand, we have been spoiled by unnecessarily oversize cars, so it may not be an issue. Pain job—doesn't seem to be of the best quality (I have the black on black version of 200 S). Seating shape could improve as well. Middle divider between front seats seems a little wobbly. The same goes for the middle console storage—needs to be more stable and better built.
