I love the space. It is the perfect amount. I can stick my groceries in the back and still have enough leg room in the front. What is most interesting to me about the car is it's quietness. I had a diesel VW before and it was quite loud and clunky. The space is something I needed in an SUV but couldn't afford the most popular ones.
Story
Taking my kid to play dates and also the ease of having storage for gear, etc.
Pros
The space like I mentioned before is the most pro item. But coming in close second is the handling. The steering is very sensitive and it can turn around on a dime. Braking is also excellent. It's also high enough off the ground for me to be comfortable taking this AWD bad boy in the snow and sleet.
Cons
Acceleration is not that great. I feel like when I need to go hard and fast, I'm somewhat behind what in previous vehicles I've had. I'm not saying it's slow, but in the type of traffic I'm in, sometimes I need to go accelerate even at higher speeds and it seems somewhat lagging. I could have spent the extra money to upgrade 50 ( I think it was 50 extra?) more horsepower but I guess I did not feel I needed it at the time.

Prior to purchasing my 2016 Chevy Trax, I was at the mechanic at least once a month, pouring money into a car that was not keeping me safe. It was unreliable, dated, and not functional. I went to Chevy to see if they had any used cars because I was fed up. I did not expect to fall in love with a vehicle there, but once I laid my eyes on the white Chevy Trax, I could not stop thinking about it. Now, nearly two years later, it continues to blow me away and is hands down the best purchase I have ever made. I'm not a car person, but I will try my best to discuss actual automotive details. The first thing I loved about the car was its body style. It's sleek, cute, but also functional. Every time I see another Tax on the road, I think "it's so cute!" It is a smaller SUV but also has so much ... (more)
Story
I remember I purchased this vehicle during a kind of stressful period. I was planning my wedding, applying to graduate schools and my parents were splitting up. This car for me was a safe haven in all aspects of the word. I had fabulous date nights in this car, but I also had really long days. It felt like even on my worst days, I could get into my car, take a deep breath, and everything was j... (more)
Pros

This vehicle was an excellent purchase! Though used, I got a vehicle with less that 50k miles for under $16k. This is one of the only smaller sized SUVs that came with navigation, back-up camera, heated seats, AWD, and moon roof. I have had the car for two years now, and it has never had any maintenance issues. It is reliable for dirt roads and snowy conditions. I receive many compliments stating how cute the vehicle is, and while not being over-sized, still containing all the bells and whistles of more expensive vehicles.
Story
Driving off road on a cow pasture for two miles and the cows not being afraid because they were about the same size as the SUV and also black and white.
Pros
Bluetooth connectivity for my phone is an added convenience along with the steering wheel volume and function controllers. The turbo charged engine makes it perform more like a six cylinder then a four-cylinder vehicle. I never have problems accelerating up mountain roads.
Cons
The only drawbacks to the car are the mid-grade fuel requirement and that the Bluetooth does not auto-connect and start when you re-enter the car. It will auto-connect but be back on the radio setting until you select manually Bluetooth again. Also, if there was an option to have all of the seat controls be electronic for both driver and passenger that would be a big improvement.
