2011 Chevrolet Traverse - Great family vehicle.
My husband and I purchased the Chevrolet Traverse for several different reason. The vehicle is an comfortable eight passenger mid-size truck. From its stylish look to the beautiful color that we picked (royal blue), everything in this vehicle is perfect.
Story
We drove from New Jersey to Georgia, and the kids did not complain about being on top of each other. They actually loved all the space they had to kick there feet up and enjoy the ride with all the windows to look out of.
Pros
We love the middle row for the space that it offers with leg room. The third row is also spacious and offers great leg room. There is an option in the middle row with a console that comes down to place drinks and other entertainment. The back, middle and rear seating all have vent, heating, and A/C controls for the temperature. We have seat belts for all the seats in the rear that does not fit uncomfortable, which is a plus with multiple passengers. Cons
The only down fall to the vehicle was a recall on the power steering pump that went out. GM replaced the part without problem or cost to us. We also had a traction control problem on the vehicle that the manufacturer did not cover. Also, my A/C and heater compressor went out on the vehicle and needed to be replaced. But none of these problems can steer me away from buying this vehicle again.
2014 Chevrolet Traverse - Best Truck I have bought
I absolutely love this truck. I purchased this truck a year and a half ago for my wife and I absolutely love it. It is the most comfortable vehicle I have ever owned. Having the seating for 7 with the captain's chairs is just a phenomenal feature. It gives room for full grown adults to sit in the back of the car and truly fits 7 real people in the car. There is so much room in this truck it is unbelievable, and every seat is comfortable. It also has such a smooth ride, whether on the parkway or riding around town you always feel in control and comfortable.
Story
I was able to drive my wife, my daughter, and my in-laws (my father in law is 6 foot 7) to upstate new york with luggage for a weekend and we had more than enough room for all of us and had a great trip
Pros
The running boards are a great feature in this model and really helps shorter people like my wife be able to get in and out of the truck comfortably. As I stated the seating is so comfortable and ample and there is more than enough space for everyone who sits in the truck. The ride is always smooth and enjoyable.
Cons
The only cons I would say is the truck does not get good gas mileage, sure for an SUV it may do pretty well, but getting 24-25 miles per gallon on the highway is not very good. Also the roof racks that came in the package I got are kind of useless but they look nice.
