2001 Chevrolet TrailBlazer - My Trailblazer was a great vehicle with a few frustrating recalls and odd misdiagnosed problems!

I like my Trailblazer. The size and four-wheel drive are a perfect match for my family and winter conditions. The vehicle is comfortable and easy to get into (no dropping down into the seat of a car). This vehicle held all of the hockey gear traveling to and from practices, games, and tournaments.
Story
Road trips are a favorite memory driving from Vegas to Phoenix along the river and camping along the way.
Pros
My vehicle is 16 years old and still a dependable vehicle. It has stood the test of time. We still haul our boat with this vehicle and go on extended road and camping trips. Great size.
Cons
The negatives about this vehicle were the multiple recalls followed by a problem which no one could diagnose at the dealer. Recalls included the whole dashboard display going out (no speed indicator, gas indicator, etc.) after months of dealing with this there was finally a recall and repair options. The headlights and taillights also went out often. I also had an issue with the vehicle just loosing power as I was driving. This was an intermittent condition, and it took months to bring it to the dealer when it was happening to be diagnosed. It took many attempts to fix and weeks in the shop.

The Chevrolet Trailblazer is a great vehicle for both family and single drivers. It is built to last, as I have over 160,000 miles on mine. I have hauled several different things in my SUV, from pets, luggage and furniture, to my family. It is a comfortable vehicle and easily seats 5 people. My Trailblazer has been mechanically sound and required minimal upkeep. I have replaced a few items on this vehicle throughout the years and will continue to do so, as required.
Story
I enjoy taking my vehicle on trips and will typically drive it around the mountains.
Pros
Comfortable. Can carry people and cargo. Drives well.
Cons
The same part has needed replacement 3 times, fuel level sensor.
