2004 Chevrolet Trailblazer - One sweet ride
I love my Chevy trailblazer. It has big comfortable leather seats and a sunroof. I have all the option for that year. Some features include AWD and a tow package. I have heated seats and a console for the backseat that my passengers can use to control their heat setting and the radio with a pair of headphones. This truck was made for the winter and is a nice summer vehicle too. It accelerates nicely. It has the ability to get up and go. This truck will run forever though. Once the problem is fixed that's all there is to it - it doesn't have to be performed over an over. My truck has about 230,000 miles and rides wonderfully.
Story
It snowed 17 inches in one day. Everyone was stuck in the snow except me. I love to help people stuck in the snow. Just give them a push and then me and my baby are gone.
Pros
The pros include a nice spacious ride, tinted glass, and plenty of space. An excellent winter ride. But the big windows in the summer time allow this truck to cool off easily and save money from not cooling this truck to ride in it.
Cons
The negatives include the cost of owning a truck. It holds more oil than the average vehicle, gas mileage is poor and the cost of repairs are high. I generally paid $700 per repair.
2002 Chevrolet Trailblazer - Reliable Workhorse
The Chevrolet Trailblazer is one of the best cars I have owned. Actually, right after I bought my car, my mother also purchased a Trailblazer. They are roomy, strong, and very reliable. I am well over 150,000 miles on the SUV and with regular maintenance , and it is still running great.
Story
One of the most memorable experiences with this car is driving down to the lake, turning down muddy paths as the view of the water approaches, and not having a worry in the world about my safety while driving to the secluded getaway.
Pros
This car handled great in the snow. Living in Michigan, snow is a regular driving condition throughout the winter months, and I always felt safe in my Trailblazer. I knew with my four-wheel drive I could get anywhere I needed. Also, the backseat is very roomy. I have two dogs, and they have plenty of space in the back to lay down or drool out the window.
Cons
The gas mileage is one of my least favorite aspects of this car but really what can you expect from an SUV. I think I was getting about 14-15 mpg last time I checked.
