2003 Chevrolet Tahoe - Good enough SUV
It is dark red, almost burgundy. I bought it in September 2013. This particular vehicle had been lowered which I didn't like. I liked the sale price and the fact that is was roomy. It was in good condition for what I could see and tell as I test drove the vehicle.
Story
We moved across town last year. So we ended up using the vehicle to help transport some items. We put a queen size mattress on top to strap down because it would not fit inside. So we drove away and made it to the new place with no problems. Then we noticed that the mattress was not strapped down and for some reason stayed on top of the vehicle and did not fall of because it was not strapped d... (more)
Pros
It has a lot of room that will hold a lot of items or people. It also has a DVD player and monitor for the people sitting in the back.
Cons
This vehicle had been lowered. I like the normal height SUVs because I can see the road better. It also got horrible gas mileage, but that is no surprise because it is an SUV.
2010 Chevrolet Tahoe - Love this car
I pretty much loved everything about my Tahoe from the looks to the size of the car and the ability to fit all my family and friends in the car, so we could travel to places together. It drives nicely and is easy to park even though it is a full-sized SUV.
Story
We take the Tahoe to the drive-in theater. We open up the back rear door and fill it with pillows and blankets and have a fun movie night under the stars.
Pros
My favorite features of the Chevy Tahoe are the third-row seats that I can remove to put all of the groceries from a Costco trip, the dual A/C, sunroof, and most of all, the DVD player to keep the kiddos quiet.
Cons
The only negative thing I have to say about my Tahoe is the type of seat interior we chose. It is a dark-gray cloth that looks nice until you decide to have children, and they use the inside of the car as an art canvas with their sippy cups and snacks.
