Chevy Suburban is built tightly with no interior rattles. It seats eight comfortably on plush seats. Its a six-door model with two of the doors opening in the rear of the vehicle. It has plenty of storage space in the rear of the vehicle, and luggage racks atop the vehicle to provide more as needed. The four-wheel drive is great for getting you out of sticky or muddy situations and being available at a touch of a button. It keeps your feet cleaner that way. We laid the second row of seats flat, removed the rear seat, and hauled furniture home. There is now a screeching sound that we think is either in steering or related to the accelerator, but we've not taken it to a mechanic yet due to finances.
Story
We drove it through 18 inches of snow coming home from an important doctor appointment. It took 12 hours to make a six-hour trip.
Pros
Four-wheel drive is a major plus. Child locks, electric windows and locks, CD player, backseat/auxiliary, and heater and A/C controls are all great too. The second row of seats can be laid flat, the rear/third seat is removable, or can be rolled up to provide excess room for carrying large items. We even hauled ten-foot long PVC pipe inside with one end hanging out a window.
Cons
The MPG is declining as the vehicle becomes older. The fan control has broken about 12 times in ten years. The four-wheel drive sticks sometimes and won't come out of four low.

2007 Chevrolet Suburban - Best family vehicle ever owned. Tougher than sand, mud, rocks and kids.

What's not to like about our Chevy Suburban? It's super tough, rugged, and can with stand anything we throw at it! We haul our three rough and tumble kids in our Suburban, along with our three large dogs, our Suburban handles it all, from spills and thrills -- this vehicle has got it covered!! What do we like about our Suburban? That it can handle everything from towing boats and campers to packing in large quantities of kids to go to the nearby theme park. This vehicle is tougher than other vehicles on the market. One dislike I suppose could be the gas mileage, but what do you except? It's a large vehicle with endless opportunities to please us as the owner!
Story
Heading towards the Northwood's of Wisconsin for Christmas. Our Suburban was packed full of food, presents, groceries, kids, pets, even items tied to the roof, and this vehicle makes it all happen in a safe, traveling manner.
Pros
Favorite feature of our tough as nails Chevy Suburban, hands down, is the versatility. Whatever tough task we throw at it, it handles it. Without a doubt. Want to haul tons of rocks, dirt, kids, pets, tow with a boat or camper? This vehicle has got it covered!! Need even more space? Fold down the third row seating, and presto, more versatility. This truck keeps going and going!!
Cons
Gas mileage.
