The 2015 Chevy Silverado 2500 HD is a great truck with ample power for towing almost anything. The truck also brings all the creature comforts USB ports are everywhere power windows, and locks as well as tow mode and a built in trailer brake system. The 6.0 liter gasoline engine has plenty of power even under a heavy towing load. The only negative to the gasser in. this case is slight loss of fuel efficiency vs. the diesel.
Story
We almost sunk the truck loading the boat at a ridiculously bad boat ramp even without anything on the trailer. We were only able to manage to get the truck off of the ramp (without sinking) by carefully working both pedals.
Pros
Lots of toys. Great towing and load capacity. Plenty of power. Very comfortable.
Cons
Fuel economy could be better.
