2007 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 - I liked it
Cheap materials and mediocre build quality. It had an abundance of hard plastics, spotty assembly and lack of personality.
Pros
Refined and very quiet ride even with heavy-duty towing package. Excellent fit and finish inside. Seats are comfortable for long drives, comprehensive list of safety equipment.
Cons
Four-speed transmission sometimes blunts performance. Hard door armrests.
2011 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 - Great everyday truck.
My truck is great for everyday use and for trips. There is lots of space in the back seat for my passengers. Even on trips, this vehicle is preferred by myself and my family. The drive is smooth. And, when seen from the road, the truck looks beautiful. It's very sleek and although it looks tough and durable, it still looks classy and sophisticated on the road. This vehicle will fit every outing, every event. From a classy Gala gathering to a trip to the drive in.
Story
We love taking this truck to our local drive in. I remember one time we invited a bunch of friends. And we opened up the truck bed and filled it with bean bags. The teens all got in the back and ate their snacks and watched the movie. It was so comfortable and fun for them that by the end of the night, many wanted to stay and sleep in that truck bed.
Pros
The pros of this vehicle are the roomy interior. Whether your taking a long or short trip, the passengers have lots of room to relax and enjoy the drive. The drive itself is very smooth. You don't feel the road. The exterior is beautiful and classy. The driver has everything they need in front of them. And, the driver is able to relax and enjoy the drive without feeling stiff. Its as if the interior adjusts to your body and your way of driving. The center conceal provides a place to put drinks or a play to lay your arm. There is lots of leg room for passengers and the driver.
Cons
Negative things about this truck is the gas. It's pricey to fill up. Even with the E82 option, its still pricey because not many gas stations offer that gas... and if they do, they sell out quickly. Another negative is that my engine went out when the vehicle was only 7 years old. To me, it should've lasted longer.
