This is a 2004 Chevy Silverado. This truck was bought used for a fair price. It is a 4X4 with a tow package. We added a trailer break and Reese Hitch. It had been an extremely dependable truck. It has an 8 foot bed for hauling and a bed liner. We also added a tool box in the bed.
Story
I brought my grandkids and their bikes to stay with me for a week in Myrtle Beach while I was on an assignment there. And I'm getting ready to do the same thing again in Hershey, PA!
Pros
It is very dependable. It has held it's value. It has the extended cab that was nice for the grandkids. It came with a tow package. It had a very nice look to it. The safety features were great. It had push button 4X4. It was an automatic. Parts were relatively inexpensive. It had a good tow capacity.
Cons
The switch on the air broke twice. The fan would only work in high. Tires are expensive. The door handle on the drivers side rear door broke easily. The trim fell off the tailgate handle. It should come with running boards to allow ease getting in for us short people. The interior seat color is really too light. Did not have the slider window in the back.

I own a 2011 Chevy Silverado 1500 LT, 2 wheel drive, crew cab with approximately 20,500 miles on it. The engine is a 5.3 L V8. The truck's styling is ok, but the Ford F-150 looks a bit better, especially head on. I got a very good price on the truck which swayed my decision to go with the Silverado over the F-150.
Story
The truck has come in handy for getting all the heavy furniture that my wife likes to collect. She purchases furniture on Craig's List and having the truck has been instrumental in bringing the furniture home. We even drove down from Virginia to Georgia to get furniture within a few months of getting the truck!
Pros
The truck is very comfy to drive even on long road trips. There is plenty of room in the front seat. The step up height is lower than the F-150 which makes getting into and out of easier. The iPod/iPhone sync works pretty well, once you figure out the controls for working the phone via the truck as opposed to the device itself. The back seat flipping up and down makes fitting things in the back. Acceleration is brisk once you step down hard on the pedal.
Cons
The Silverado has a very large turning radius which makes maneuvering in tight parking lots a challenge. It is sometimes easier to let someone go then to try and squeeze past them. Occasionally the Silverado makes loud grunts when switching gears in stop and go traffic. Silverado is not a fuel sipping vehicle (as one would expect). If you want to accelerate at more than a moderate clip, it is necessary to press down more on the pedal than expected.

the staff was friendly and knowledgeable. They offer competitive pricing for used cars. The service department is excellent. They offer more for trade-in than other dealers they have a good used inventory
