2002 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 - I am extremely happy with my Silverado. This is the second used Silverado I have owned. It is reliable and attractive. It is however bad on gas and not family friendly if you have young children.

I am extremely happy with my Silverado. This is the second used Silverado I have owned. It is reliable and attractive. It is however bad on gas and not family friendly if you have young children.
Story
We used my truck this summer to pull cattail bundles out of our families pond.
Pros
Reliable, tough, all weather vehicle, large truck bed.
Cons
Bad gas mileage, ugly interior.

A sturdy pickup with a 315 hp V-8 with an automatic transmission, towing package, and a 6.5 foot cargo bed and 17" tires.
Story
Once successfully beat a Chevy Camaro in an impromptu drag race. It is a flex fuel vehicle, which allows you to fill up with E-85, should you come across a station.
Pros
Four-wheel drive. Third brake light. Towing package. Full-size spare tire. V8 engine. Automatic transmission. Air conditioning, tilt, cruise, and ABS. Cargo bed light.
Cons
Intermediate steering shaft problems. Front airbag sensors fail prematurely. Inferior wiring on blower motor resistor that causes overheating and melting of connectors.
