I bought a short bed Chevy Silverado used. It is a decent enough truck, and the short bed was all I needed for the purpose. The truck gets decent gas mileage. The interior is decent. The exterior styling is okay. The truck, overall, has been extra medium in build quality and absolutely middle of the pack for performance.
Story
I had a squirrel dive bomb from a tree into the truck bed while cruising down a suburban street. It made a few laps before hopping out.
Pros
It is a truck. The bed can hold dirty signs. It is functional, and it gets from point A to point B hauling a small amount of stuff. The center console can hold a fell sheet of paper plus have left over room for a box of business cards.
Cons
The truck suspension feels like it is made from recycled foil. The ride quality is mediocre at best, and I have sit more comfortably on 5-gallon buckets. The interior plastic is the finest quality that less than a cent can buy. The entire interior just oozes the fact it was made just as cheap as possible.

Easy vehicle to drive, easy handling, nice extended cab truck, but the next time I will purchase a crew cab as the half doors are hard to keep open.
Story
In Branson, Missouri, we were caught in a snow storm and trying to get down some of the mountains were a blast as the back end of the truck was sliding all over the roads. I was having a great time.
Pros
Decent gas mileage, roomy, spacious, good torque to the rear end easy to handle. It was used quite a bit around the mountains and did not have a bit of problems on the handling.
Cons
Everything under the hood is too confined and makes it difficult to replace headlights. I now have LED lights on my truck, and it looks great and bright at night and Chevrolet needs to work on their blower motors. I went two within 3 years of owning the truck.
