I bought this truck new and kept it in good shape. It was my first new vehicle purchase and is more modern than all of the cars that I have owned before. It has never left me stranded and has modern safety features. I've used it as a work truck primarily and have driven up and down the East Coast of the United States with it. While it is aesthetically pleasing and I enjoy the finishes, etc., it is underpowered. Having a v6 in a truck this big makes it lag, especially when hauling anything of substantial weight.
Story
I enjoyed driving to the beaches of Georgia with my girlfriend.
Pros
I enjoy the fuel economy when I'm on the highway. It's better than any truck I've owned before. The silver paint job looks good and the design is very no-frills. The interior is durable. I enjoy the fact that this truck has everything you need and nothing you don't. I have purchased older vehicles in the past because I don't like all of the unnecessary things that come on new cars, but this truck keeps things simple. It has never left me stranded.
Cons
This vehicle has very few cons. One complaint is that it is underpowered with the v6 engine. It is simply too small for the size of the chassis. Accelerating takes much too long, especially when hauling or going uphill. I wish that Chevrolet would offer a manual transmission for the Silverado to improve driver control. The tire sensors are also a bit of an annoyance, as they sometimes malfunction when the pressure is at the correct level.

My husband purchased this vehicle for use in his HVAC business. He has put around 30,000 miles on it every year he has owned it. There have never been any problems with it, and he has never had to have it in the shop for repairs. This is very important when you depend on your vehicle every day to run calls. Since he spends so much time in it everyday, it is important that it be a smooth and comfortable ride, which it is.
Story
We have decorated our truck and used it in a little community 4th of July parade.
Pros
Of course the top positive thing would be how reliable the vehicle has been. The only work we have had done on it are getting new brakes and tires, and with so many miles on it, this is to be expected. It is a very comfortable ride, which is important since so much time is spent in it every day. It rides as comfortable as most cars! The Satellite radio and OnStar feature is great also, since so much time is spent driving. It is heavy duty, also. I really can't think of anything negative about the vehicle. We have been extremely happy with it, and would probably buy another.

This was my first experience purchasing a car on my own, but I have been with other people and experienced what it is like. Honestly, the staff at this location was very helpful and provided excellent customer service. They were truthful when it came to the status of the car and the reason for the price. When I took it out for a test drive, the guy that was helping me was extremely fun to talk to and make the experience personal. They did mess up some paperwork, but took off an additional $1,000 from the price due to their mistake; which I think is admirable.

I liked this dealership because all of the cars seemed to be fairly priced. Also for a random mom and pop car dealer they had a large selection. When I saw my car it was not even on the lot technically quite yet, but I just had to have it, they were so nice and answered every question I had. The first person I spoke to was the mechanic who willingly gave me the details of the cars condition and assured me this would be a great purchase for my first car.
