1985 Chevrolet S-10 - Dependably tough.
This vehicle is easy to work on yourself. Replacement parts are inexpensive. I like the hassle free component of no computer issues. It gets great gas mileage. These trucks take a licking and keep going.
Story
My husband and I bought this to redo together, been a great way to spend time and work together on it. Most fun is picking out those extra things that make it unique.
Pros
Cheap part, easy to customize to personal tastes, dependable, easy to work on yourself and hold value well.
Cons
Leg room if your over 5'10, head room, no air bags, loss of torque in automatic version.
