1983 Chevrolet Malibu - Comfortable
I've owned this car about five years and am very happy with it. It's my first GM vehicle, after owning foreign makes for eight months. The style is beautiful, and the size is substantial. I have the turbo engine and find it to be extremely responsive and handling is sure and easy. The ride is comfortable and solid.
Story
I remember going to the beach on vacation. It was funny because my little dog played on the seats, and I was furious because it messed everything up.
Pros
Excellent vehicle that provides comfort and, at the same time, a very stable handling especially on the road. It has an excellent soundproofing in the cabin, which makes it even more pleasant to drive it. It does not present major problems if you give maintenance according to the program.
Cons
The lights are often fused, and the engine overheats a lot.
2010 Chevrolet Malibu - I was happy at first with this car, but after 80,000 miles, I started to have trouble with it.
The car was a great and reliable car. I used it to drive to school which it about a 30-mile commute one way. It is good on gas and seats a family of four comfortably. I bought this car used from a dealership with 30,000 miles on it. It ran pretty good for about 3 years. The car performed well during this time.
Story
One time I had an overnight tournament and my wife and I slept in the car. We were so crammed, but we laughed at how uncomfortable we slept.
Pros
The car is great on gas, and it good for a small family. The car looks great and had all the bells and whistles. I liked the fact that is was economical and sporty.
Cons
After about 80,000 miles, I started having trouble with the car. It started sputtering and taking a while to crank. The A/C started to smell like a wet rag. Then I noticed that the passenger floor board had a huge puddle. There was not a leak front the door, and the A/C was leaking and flooded my car. The car had mold and smelled awful.
